This is my first time participating on “Waiting on Wednesday”. It is an event hosted at Breaking the Spine. I haven’t decided yet if it will be a regular feature here– probably it will just be when inspiration hits.
What I’m eagerly awaiting is…
Finger Lickin’ Fifteen by Janet Evanovich
From Goodreads.com:
While recovering from an ill-timed makeup mishap, Lula is a witness to celebrity chef, Stanley Chipotle, losing his head – literally. Now Lula and Stephanie are on the hunt to identify the killers before Lula is next on the chopping block.
Meantime, Ranger’s recruited Stephanie’s help for a top secret mission. Someone on the inside at Rangeman is leaking client information, determined to bring the company down. No one is above suspicion, not even Ranger’s right hand man, Tank.
Can Stephanie hunt down a killer, a traitor, five skips and keep Grandma out of the sauce?
It’s the sexiest, scariest, most fun Plum yet. So good you’ll want seconds.
Why this book? Because I know it will make me laugh. I expect to enjoy the plot. I can’t wait to enjoy the interactions between Stephanie and Ranger. I’m thrilled to revisit all the characters. But really, it’s all about the laughter.
Available June 23.

Oh, me too! Only I’m awaiting the audiobook release of this book. Lorelei King, the narrator, is absolutely perfect as Stephanie Plum, and she is so very very good at all the other voices, too. Not just Stephanie, but Lula and Connie are so vivid to me when she narrates, and she doesn’t do a bad Ranger or Morelli, either.

Would you believe I haven’t read fourteen yet? I used to be the first at the bookstore release day for these but not so the last couple of years. I am looking forward to catching up with the series though.

I still have a few more to look forward to, but I can’t wait to get to this one! I really like the cover art for book 15 compared to the previous books!

I like Janet Evanovich’s Plum series, but Lula really irritates me at times.
